American artist Sol LeWitt (1928 - 2007) became prominent in the middle of the 20th century and was linked to both the conceptualism and minimalism movements. He worked in a variety of mediums including paintings, drawings, print making, and installations. We drew inspiration from the “wall drawings” series, particularly his later works composed of solid bands of bold primary and secondary color in acrylic.
